What is HID
High Intensity Discharge (HID) lamp is a new type of technology that replaces the conventional halogen lamp. Unlike halogen lamps, HID lamps replace filaments of halogen lamps with electrodes. it uses electrical discharge technology to ignite inert gas contained ia a sealed bulb inside.

Longer Life: Last 2,000 hours or more.
Power saving: Only 35 W.

KIT Composition
HID convention kit is composed of HID lamps, ballast and installation accessories which are used to retrofit the conventional halogen headlamp system into the headlamps system.
